About the school: Established in 1979, the Sonny Callahan School for the Deaf and Blind is dedicated to providing educational and support services to children with hearing or vision loss in the Mobile County Public Schools and surrounding areas. Callahan School is a very unique school as it serves students on-site as well as students in their home-based schools.

Learning looks different for each of our students and we are staffed by a diverse team of service providers who are able to collaborate and individualize learning plans for each of our students.
