About the school: Hollinger's Island Elementary School is located just south of the Dog River Bridge on Hollinger's Island in south Mobile County. Tucked within a quiet neighborhood, our school is reminiscent of neighborhood schools of yore. Our quiet island school is close enough to Mobile Bay for walking field trips and gentle breezes that blow overhead daily.

Hollinger's Island Elementary is special in many ways. We are a small school with close ties to the community. Our teachers are dedicated to providing a positive, engaging and inspiring environment where we unlock each child's potential. We are known for our annual community Turkey Trot and our on-campus greenhouse. Our biggest strength is the partnership we have with the community.

It's a great place to be!

Home of the Dolphins, Hollinger's Island Elementary consistently performs in the top 20 percent of Alabama's schools.
