About the school: Tanner Williams is a small, rural school nestled in the heart of the Tanner Williams Community.  Tanner Williams Elementary is known for our project-based learning. We were named a CLAS School of Distinction for our work in PBL in 2019. Tanner Williams was also the first elementary school in Mobile County to launch Project Lead the Way. 

All staff members have been Ron Clark Academy trained and fully embrace our "House" system. 

One of our teachers, Kelly Parker, was named Mobile County's Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2022 and was a "Sweet 16" finalist for Alabama Teacher of the Year.

Tanner Williams Elementary School provides all students with engaging, hands-on, collaborative, problem-solving learning experiences that prepare students to be successful in the real word.  Teachers and staff believe and show daily that, "Team work makes the dream work!"
