About the school: Burns Middle School has been successful in offering a wide range of regular, advanced math and reading intervention classes, and special education classes to meet students' needs. Students leave Burns prepared to meet the academic challenges of high school and workforce development with critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

The elective programs offer a range of choices in fine arts, including band, chorus and art, as well as other electives in Project Lead the Way. Students have the opportunity to participate in sports, National Junior Honor Society, Builders Club, and other extracurricular clubs and organizations.

Our goal is to produce creative and innovative students, who leave Burns proficient in writing, STEM skills, problem-solving, collaborative learning and producing digital products.
