Denton students competed in state competitions and qualified for Nationals for both Archery and Technology. Named a Distinguished School by Project Lead the Way, Denton placed first and third in the state for the ACTE Team Programming Challenge. We are middle school volleyball champions. We are the ONLY middle school that competes in the high school division of VEX Robotics in Mobile County. We are the only middle school that partners with a high school to offer high school credit for NJROTC to students.
Denton is an A+ College Ready partner. Together, we create a culture of HIGH ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS for ALL students, teachers and administrators by:
Increasing the number of STUDENTS engaged in cognitively complex tasks through rigorous curricula that promote access to higher level academic classes and prepares them for college success.
Improving STUDENT academic achievement by training, supporting and EQUIPPING teachers with research-based teaching strategies, deeper content knowledge and classroom resources, and
Supporting STUDENT success by EMPOWERING administrators to be more effective instructional leaders.
