About the school: Alma Bryant offers a wide variety of programs that meet the individual needs of all of our students. In our College Prep Program- The Cambridge Program- students have an average ACT score of 30. This year we had a National Merit Award Scholar. 

We offer a state-of-the-art welding facility, where we have a partnership with Ingall's Shipbuilding that provides both dual enrollment opportunities and employment possibilities upon completion. We also have an on-site nursing facility, where our students can earn a patient care tech certification that will lead them to a future career in the medical profession. 

Our aquaculture program offers opportunities for hands-on learning in the field of oyster farming in the Mississippi Sound as well as hydroponics for the sake of watershed conservation. 

Our fine arts department is second to none, showcasing student talents through various programs such as band, dance, theater, showcase choir, as well as visual arts. 

Our athletics program offers some of the best facilities in the state ranging from collegiate size indoor multisport training facility to a 3-D archery range. We had multiple teams win championships this past year, including our girls soccer team. The baseball team was in the final 8 teams left in 7A. 

We are known for being a community school that encourages community and alumni involvement. Our students are taught that anything is possible with hard work and commitment to excellence. We encourage students to give back to their community when they reach success.

As educational professionals, our focus should always be based on meeting our students needs both academically and emotionally. Understanding that, our administration, faculty, and staff continually collaborate and review all available data to drive the decisions that impact our students academics, arts, athletics, and social and emotional needs.
