About the school: We are known for our partnership with Airbus as well as for offering of viable electives. We currently offer We Build It Better, Project Lead the Way, Cameo Silhouette, Computer Education with a focus on Apple as well as a Broadcasting (and D.J.) Class.
We received the Learning Leading Award from Newsela for outpacing the district in student engagement for our students reading over 83,000 news articles. We also received the national RAMP award for our outstanding counseling program. Our most notable strengths are student-teacher mentorship and family engagement.
Our teaching philosophy is all students can thrive in a nurturing environment paired with diverse learning experiences and tools. Teamwork is the core to Pillans Middle School. Our core plus mentoring program provides support to the entire learning community at Pillans Middle School.
