About the school: MGM is a community based school in the City of Semmes. We have many great qualities as a school. Our school is proud of 11 different career academies including our Signature Academy of Biomedical Sciences.

We offer unique opportunities through our one-of-a-kind Leadership class, where students gain valuable leadership skills and create school-wide projects including an annual blood drive.

MGM offers 7 horticulture green houses, where we grow plants, flowers, and consumable vegetables to sale to the community.

We have numerous clubs, organizations, and sports. Our clubs and organizations boast many awards including:

We offer over 12 different sports at JV and Varsity levels for both males and females. Our sports teams all play in the 7A division and have succeed to attain many championships.

We offer a wide range of classes for students including AP, Dual Enrollment, Honors, Regular, and SPED. Our teachers are highly qualified, including several NBCT and Alabama Science Teacher Associations (ASTA) board members.

Teachers at MGM present at local, state, and national conferences within their field and writing curriculum for the district in multiple categories.
